Welcome to St Pauls Operatic Society
St Pauls Operatic Society is based in Wallasey on the Wirral and was established in 1906 and continues to perform anything from Grand Opera to Modern Musicals.
We are a charitable trust (charity no 507872) which, through the hard work, generosity and sponsorship of members, local Wirral businesses and residents, reached our Centenary in 2006 and are proud to carry on the tradition as the oldest Wirral operatic society.
Our members have love of anything from modern musicals to opera with a passion for singing that is brought to life in our fabulous productions. Our aim is to entertain and provide enjoyment for our audiences and ourselves. We produce one major musical show which is either staged at the Gladstone Theatre, Port Sunlight or the Floral Pavilion, New Brighton and two major concerts per year which are normally staged in the Wallasey area.
St Pauls are always looking for new members. If you are interested in joining us, either as a playing member for the shows and concerts, or in a non-playing capacity - assisting with the various behind-the-scenes tasks, backstage or front of house, then pop down to our Tuesday rehearsals 7.45pm at Grosvenor Annexe, Grosvenor Street.
