Welcome to St Pauls Musical Theatre Company

(formerly St Pauls Operatic Society)

What’s in a name…well for St Pauls its over 110 years of history and wonderful memories but times are changing and so are we. Now performing more up to date productions and popular West End and Broadway musicals we are pleased to announce that we will now be known as St Pauls Musical Theatre Company and our history and memories, well they’ll always be with us!

To start this new chapter in our history we would love you to come along and support us at two of the exciting events in the world of musical theatre we already have planned this year.

Firstly “A Night to Remember” at the Grosvenor Ballroom, Wallasey on 27 & 28 April featuring a selection of songs and music from popular WEST END and BROADWAY musicals along with some iconic songs from well-known recording artists. For this production we are delighted to be joined by pupils from the award-winning Stage One 2000 Musical Youth Theatre. Tickets are £8.00 each, please call 0151 677 2895 to book.

Also, we are delighted announce our next major production is “OLIVER!” one of the best-loved British musicals which we are bringing to the Gladstone Theatre, Port Sunlight, 25 to 27 October this year.  Following open auditions we are please to announce our cast - see our "PRODUCTIONS" page for the cast list.

Our aim as always through our 110 year history is to entertain and provide enjoyment for our audiences and ourselves. St Pauls Musical Theatre Company are proud to carry on the tradition as the oldest musical theatre company on the Wirral.

We will continue through the hard work, generosity and sponsorship of members, local Wirral businesses and residents to produce one major musical production staged at either the Gladstone Theatre, Port Sunlight or the Floral Pavilion, New Brighton and two major concerts per year which are normally staged in the Wallasey area.

St Pauls are always looking for new members.  If you are interested in joining us, either as a playing member for the shows and concerts, or in a non-playing capacity - assisting with the various behind-the-scenes tasks, backstage or front of house, then pop down to our Tuesday rehearsals 7.45pm at Grosvenor Annexe, Grosvenor Street.
