"...it was the most wonderful production by amateurs that I have seen for a very long time. It was the first time that I had seen the St.Pauls show and can hardly wait for next years. The acting and singing by the Principals was excellent as was the Chorus. The costumes, settings, lighting etc. were superb. Having been a rather personal critic of shows for many years...perhaps too critical at times, I have to admin that I could not find fault with the entire show. It was brilliantly direct too. Obviously a lot of time, effort and money was spent on this production, but it looked brilliant, sounded good with the orchestra and even at one moment brought a lump to my throat. I know many groups on the Wirral are struggling for new cast members, especially younger ones, but you seem to have just about managed to cast this and get a varied mixture of people involved and the show worked well.
